Boy, this BluePrint2 thing could drive a guy crazy. Many thanks to those who were able to furnish me with BluePort. Alas, I load it on the Newton, and I am rewarded with a -48205 error every time. That's even after clearing the soup with soupkitchen. So... the big question at this point is whether or not I will ever get the kind of connectivity between my Newton and my laptop that I desire.
